I LOVE IT. This is exactly what I want from Town & Country: People looking rich, and cheeky headlines. Yes, I DO want to learn how to spot a fake European heir! Thank you for continuing to be the only print magazine that consistently delivers true joy to me, T&C.
The interview is also good — Carrie Coon is, of course, thoughtful and interesting. Morgan Spector gives a great quote that I won’t spoil for you. And while this piece is in aid primarily of the new season of White Lotus – which we plan to recap for paid subscribers at Drinks With Broads, just FYI — she also drops a little hint about the new season of The Gilded Age (which, of course, we also recap; am I a Carrie Coon specialist?):
Of the coming season Coon says, “Bertha’s work is never done, and it will come at a great cost.”
I assume that great cost will be her own daughter after she marries her off to the Duke against her will. The new season cannot come soon enough!
