The 2025 Grammy Awards delivered on the fashion front with plenty of glamour, risk-taking, and sheer audacity. Here is a roundup of the remaining notable looks.
The second-most naked look of the night goes to…
Chrissy Teigen left little to the imagination in a Christian Siriano Spring 2025 crinoline corseted gown, styled with Loree Rodkin jewels. The silhouette and dramatic details were a dream, but I personally draw the line at sheer dresses when I can see an areola.
From worst-dressed lists to redemption
The last time we saw a Miss Claire Sullivan look on the red carpet, it landed on a worst-dressed list. Clairo, however, avoided that fate in this charming polka-dot corset dress.
When in doubt, cut it out
I feel like Coco Jones wears this cut-out style a lot. This time, she opted for a custom Defaïence one-shoulder look. It’s an expected Grammys choice, but one she wears well. Jimmy Choo Minny sandals completed the outfit.
Signature Thom Browne—exaggerated and fabulous
Doechii rocked a custom Thom Browne off-the-shoulder corset dress over a white shirt with all the brand’s hallmarks—exaggerated hips, dark grey pinstripes, and red, white, and blue lacing. Jewels from Messika And A.Jaffe provided the finishing touch.
Vivienne Westwood? Nope
Glorilla shimmered in a rose gold Lena Berisha corseted dress, which could easily be mistaken for Vivienne Westwood.
A liquid metal dream
JT stunned in a custom Grace Ling silver metal breastplate paired with a white jersey skirt. I love how the top half mimics the fluidity of the bottom half—sleek yet sculptural.
A subtle nod to 90s R&B royalty?
If you spent your teenage years watching MTV and Faith Evans’ Soon As I Get Home music video where she is wearing all-white, then Latto’s Alexandre Vauthier look might feel familiar. Whether intentional or not, the reference is there for me, especially when they look so much alike. Yessayan jewels completed her outfit.
Drama, decadence, and impeccable craftsmanship
Madison Beer brought full couture fantasy in a Miss Sohee Spring 2025 Couture gown—gold appliquéd French Chantilly lace, pearls, and a Jade silk mikado cape embellished with Swarovski crystals, Korean peonies, and peacocks. Simon G jewels added extra sparkle.
A classic Olivia Rodrigo silhouette
Olivia Rodrigo stuck to her signature silhouette in a Versace keyhole cut-out dress, styled with Tiffany & Co. earrings, a Tiffany Victoria® bracelet, and rings.
A polarizing mermaid moment?
Not everyone will be on board with Shakira’s custom Etro mermaid-style gown, but I was swayed by the black lace, sequin embellishments, and the unexpected orange and black floral motif bodysuit underneath. Pomellato jewelry finished the look.
Vintage meets timeless glamour
Sheryl Crow styled her classic Missoni strapless dress with a vintage belt and Neil Lane jewels—effortless, yet elegant.
More Cut-Outs
Victoria Monét wore a custom mint Oude Waag halter-neck skirt with a sculpted bustier and a sheer cape. The sculptural bodice alone made this the most unique look of the night. BVLGARI jewels completed the ensemble.
Be Thankful
Willow Smith wore a McQueen Fall 2024 coat. Considering how the night went, we should be grateful for the addition of the embellished bra and pants here.
