2025 Grammy Awards: Menswear Edition

The 2025 Grammy Awards brought an electrifying mix of style, sophistication, and bold statements from the industry’s top men. While some played it safe with classic tailoring, others went full throttle on creativity—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. From sumptuous textures to dazzling accessories, let’s break down the standout menswear moments of the night.

Mastering The Art Of Rich Textures

John Legend, who took home the Grammy for Bridge Over Troubled Water from Djesse Vol. 4 in the Best Arrangement, Instrumental, or A Cappella category, was easily one of the best-dressed men of the night in a Louis Vuitton Spring 2025 brown tuxedo. From the rich, warm hue to the jacquard texture, everything about this look screamed luxury. If I were to nitpick, I wish the brown tie had been a slightly lighter tone, but overall, this was a winning look.

Pure Joy In Fabric Form

Jacob Collier, who shared the Grammy win with Legend, was impossible to miss in a rainbow-hued suit By Ott. With a name as literal as its vibrant colour palette, this suit perfectly mirrored his infectious energy on the red carpet. Some suits are meant to blend in; this one was meant to stand out—just like Jacob himself.

‘70s Swagger With Unbuttoned Confidence

Benson Boone’s ‘70s moustache in alignment with his retro inspired custom Dolce & Gabbana charcoal tuxedo with satin lapel details. And let’s talk about that shirt unbuttoned down to the navel—a bold move, but one he pulls off effortlessly.

Finishing the look with Dolce & Gabbana Stefano sunglasses, he had a rockstar-meets-old-Hollywood energy that just worked.

Silky Smooth

Bruno Mars was as smooth as silk in a Saint Laurent silk satin suit, which he wore before taking the stage with Lady Gaga. It’s classic Bruno—effortlessly cool, undeniably sleek, and just a little bit flashy in all the right ways.

Should He Have Gone Tonal?

Chase Stokes opted for Look 44 from the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2025 collection—a green shirt and trousers paired with an ivory blazer. Personally, I wish he had gone for Look 21, an all-green ensemble, purely because I’m obsessed with tonal dressing right now. That being said, this look complemented his girlfriend Kelsea Ballerini’s ivory-caped Tamara Ralph Couture look beautifully.

The Tiffany & Co. brooch Stole the spotlight

J Balvin kept it sleek in a Dior Mens Collection silk peak-lapel Oblique tuxedo, but the real star of his look was the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Rock brooch. Featuring a diamond over 17 carats, pink sapphires, and more diamonds, it was the perfect exclamation point on an otherwise understated look.

Transylvanian royalty

Jaden Smith had one of the most talked-about looks of the night, wearing ABODI’s “Vampire Castle” sculptural headpiece with a Louis Vuitton suit. The artistic vision behind this piece is rooted in Transylvanian history and vampire legends, making it a statement piece that’s both eerie and avant-garde. Some will ask why?; others (like me) will appreciate that Jaden is always one to push the boundaries.

Not Sold

Will Smith is someone whose style I usually love, but this Balmain Pre-Fall 2025 Brandenburg-embroidered Spencer-style jacket felt a little dated on him. As bold as it is, it doesn’t quite match his effortless charm and usual modern sensibility.

classic tailoring never goes out of style

Peso Pluma, nominated for Best Música Mexicana Album, kept things classic in a Dolce & Gabbana double-breasted wool tuxedo, paired with a Jacob & Co. timepiece. Sometimes, the best way to make a statement is through flawless execution of the classics, and that’s exactly what he did.

country meets high fashion

Shaboozey, whose song A Bar Song (Tipsy) was up for Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Best Country Song, and Best Country Solo Performance, wore a Diesel custom look, designed in collaboration with creative director Glenn Martens. Inspired by Diesel’s Spring 2025 collection, his outfit featured a unquie eco-leather double-breasted jacket in Prince of Wales checks with integrated extra-long fringing. Paired with tailored black trousers, a button-up from Diesel’s Spring 2025 collection, and Western boots, the look paid homage to his country roots while staying edgy and contemporary.

sleek and sophisticated

Zedd, nominated in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category, opted for a Dolce & Gabbana taupe double-breasted wool tuxedo with black satin lapels.

From Jacob Collier’s rainbow explosion to Jaden Smith’s gothic theatrics, the men’s fashion at the 2025 Grammys was anything but predictable. Whether it was classic tailoring, bold accessories, or avant-garde pieces, these gents brought their A-game to the red carpet. Which look was your favourite?
