Mikey Madison is clearly making red her red carpet colour while in London. After her Simone Rocha moment at the 2025 Critics’ Circle Film Awards this weekend, the Anora actress kept the fiery theme alive at the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party, stepping out in a 90s archive recreation Giorgio Armani mini dress and blazer combo.
Now, I know some of you are looking at the original runway image and thinking, “Why didn’t she wear it exactly like that?”
The essence of the look remains untouched. The belted mini dress still holds all the sleek sophistication of the original, and the bold red hue is doing all the heavy lifting. The only difference? We’re missing that flared skirt moment, which gave the archival look a bit more joie de vivre. But that’s because Mikey wore the blazer as intended, rather than draping it over her shoulders.

And then there’s the black gloves. If you’re wondering why she added them: London may be inching toward spring, but it’s still freezing. As someone who wouldn’t dream of stepping outside without gloves right now, I fully support this choice—not only for practicality but also because they tie back to the original runway styling. Consider it fashion with function.

With the EE BAFTA Film Awards just around the corner, I can’t wait to see if Mikey continues her London love affair with red.
Black Manolo Blahnik pumps completed her look.
