Sometimes, you can’t tell if a designer is taking anything seriously (Balenciaga), or if they’re taking it too seriously (Armani churned out 89 things that are exactly what you are imagining they are), so Viktor & Rolf is always a breath of fresh air to me: They take WHIMSY seriously, and they do it so well.
