Update: Oct. 2, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. ET:

After an early look at a sample version of her upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration surfaced in September, pro skater Hayley Wilson is taking to social media to call out sneaker leakers and share the finalized version of the design.

“If you gonna leak my colourway at least leak the right one xoxo,” Wilson wrote Monday on Instagram alongside a video clip which she says includes a “sneak peek for what is coming.”

Wilson’s teaser clip was shot in an intentionally blurred filter, yet still gives a clear idea of what to expect from the sneaker. The video reveals a small tweak in comparison to the previously leaked sample.

Instead of the gray suede seen on the middle eyelets of the leak, the retail version of Wilson’s SB Dunk Low collab is colored in a purple shade which matches the rest of the upper. Other details remain the same, including the contrasting white toe box, barbed wire heel embroidery and mask graphics showing through the translucent sole. And while it doesn’t appear in the video, the shoe’s insole is expected to feature spider and scorpion graphics.

Leaked images often depict sample rounds of sneakers which may not always be exactly how the designs will arrive at retail. Much like Wilson’s case, the discrepancies are often insignificant and pertain to color and/or material differences. In some instances, entirely different colorways are created in the process, although it looks like the leaked sample of Wilson’s SB Dunk Low was close to completion.

What We Originally Reported on Sept. 17, 2024

Having recently released signature styles for team riders Yuto Horigome, Rayssa Leal and Leo Baker, Nike SB has another special sneaker on the way for Australian pro skateboarder Hayley Wilson.

Early in-hand images revealed on social media show a Hayley Wilson x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration which is said to be set for a 2025 release.

Although only two low-resolution photos have circulated, the shots give a good idea of what to expect from the collaboration. Wilson’s low-top SB Dunk dons a white leather toe with purple suede overlays and black filling in the quarter panel and heel as well as the Swoosh, which features a white border. Additional color comes with aqua used on the tongue label — which includes a custom Nike SB logo atop Wilson’s name — and the heel tab.

Now 22, Wilson has had a prolific career which included making history by being the youngest X-Games women’s street division skater at 15-years-old. The Australian skater continued to earn accolades in her teens before competing in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. After retiring from competition skating in 2022, Wilson turned her focus toward street skating where she’s racked up sponsors including Nike SB and Real Skateboards.

“Looking back I don’t regret [competitive skating], but I definitely wish that I focused more on street skating a little bit more,” Wilson said in a 2023 interview. “Last year I fully retired from the Olympics. Ever since then, my main focus is filming so you can tell there’s a lot more passion for this project. My style changed. Everything’s changed.

In March, Wilson became the first-ever woman to win Slam Skateboarding’s Skater of the Year honor.

Given the early arrival of images, concrete launch details for the Hayley Wilson x Nike SB Dunk Low have not yet been established. However, the “Court Purple/White/Black/Lagoon Pulse” pair, which has a SKU of HJ0513-500, is expected to be released from select skate shops during ’25 for a retail price of $135.
