Rebecca Minkoff appeared at the 2024 CFDA Awards red carpet in black leather boots, and chatted exclusively with Footwear News about her being a part of “Real Housewives of New York.”
“We bring it. I would say we do the best job because we’re dressing like modern women,” she told FN when asked to define “Real Housewives” fashion. “It’s not about showing every label that you can buy, it’s only about looking tasteful and put together.”
“No shade to the other franchises!” she added.
Minkoff definitely brought the modern woman glam to the CFDA Fashion Awards red carpet, wearing a pair of sleek, black leather over-the-knee boots characterized by their pointed design in the front. The back of her shoes weren’t visible, but from the designer’s previous footwear preferences, it’s likely the heel fell between the 3-to-4 inch mark. As for her outfit, Minkoff kept these chic and simple with a black blazer dress and silver necklace. She accessorized her look with a small black bag that matched her outfit.
Minkoff wasn’t the only one who chose black boots for the awards. Ciara also showcased a pair of pointed-toe black leather boots that were likely from her new collection with Bebe. Those boots were also crafted with patent leather material, featured a subtle-yet-elegant style, were constructed with a triangular design on the upper, and locked in by a zipper closure. While the back of those shoes were ones that couldn’t be seen fully, it’s likely they were completed with a chunky block heel that measured in-between 3-to-4 inches in height.
