Celebrities in Wiederhoeft at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards

Jackson Wiederhoeft brought their signature flair and storytelling approach to the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards, dressing not only notable guests but also themself for the evening at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The artist, designer, and visionary made his mark with bold, corset-inspired looks that leaned into both romance and theatricality.

Da’Vine Joy Randolph, who’s been delivering memorable red carpet moments this year, donned a Wiederhoeft corseted gown adorned with tulle accents. While the gown’s structure and detail aligned perfectly with Wiederhoeft’s design ethos, the color seemed a touch muted. This may have been due to the lighting, as on the runway, the color appeared far more vibrant. Still, Da’Vin wore it with poise, bringing out the gown’s inherent drama even if the hue fell slightly short.

Chloe Fineman’s Wiederhoeft look played with textures in an intriguing way. The dress featured a dazzling, embellished bodice that juxtaposed beautifully with the understated wool body and skirt. This contrast of sparkle against wool gave the dress a whimsical yet sophisticated edge, a choice well-suited to Chloe’s playful red carpet style.

Austin Goodwin, Jackson Wiederhoeft

Austin Goodwin’s custom Wiederhoeft ensemble took inspiration from the designer’s Spring 2025 collection, showcasing Wiederhoeft’s skill in adapting corsetry to menswear. The design brought an element of classic tailoring with an avant-garde twist, balancing structure and fluidity in a way that felt both fresh and characteristically Wiederhoeft.

Finally, Jackson Wiederhoeft saved the pièce de résistance for themself, appearing in an embellished satin corset dress with jet-black detailing and sheer sleeves. This look encapsulated Wiederhoeft’s artistic vision—bridging the line between fashion and performance art with unapologetic elegance.

With each of these pieces, Wiederhoeft underscored their ability to weave artful storytelling into design, bringing something both unique and unforgettable to the CFDA Awards.
