Blake Lively went bold for her appearance at the 2024 LACMA Art+Film Gala held tonight in Los Angeles.
Repping her faves, the “Gossip Girl” star flattered her feet in a pair of strappy Christian Louboutin Emilie sandals in a vibrant shade of pink. Retailing for $1,495 via Moda Operandi, the summer-ready silhouette featured textural suede calfskin uppers that transitioned into crisscrossing straps adorned with crystalized embellishments in varying sizes. 4-inch stiletto heels and rounded open toes finished off the set.
The shoe choice acted to liven up Lively’s look, conveying a colorful aspect. Lively has been a longtime fixture in the fashion scene and enjoys close friendships with designers like Christian Louboutin. During the press run for her film “It Ends With Us,” she wore various pairs of red bottoms from the designer, including a pair of Emilie sandals, So Kate styles and Sova Broda sandals. Lively’s Emilie style can be shopped second-hand from a variety of websites including Modesens, Mytheresa and Poshmark, among others.
Complimenting her colorful sandals, the “Green Lantern” actress sported a chainmail-inspired mini dress in pastel hues of pink and yellow. The garment was crafted of diamond-shaped pieces strung together with large crystals. Layered overtop, Lively wore a voluminous orange cape that sat off the shoulders.
The 13th Annual 2024 Los Angeles County Museum of Art Gala is being held tonight at the LACMA, gathering together notable names from the art, film, fashion and entertainment industries. This year’s event honors artist Simone Leigh and visionary auteur Baz Luhrmann.
Proceeds from the annual Art+Film Gala go toward underwriting LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission. This year’s gala is sponsored by Gucci, and we will see a performance by Charli XCX. Anna Kendrick, Lisa Ann Walter, Lee Jung-Jae, Ricky Martin and Law Roach are just a few stars to grace the gala.
