Angelina Jolie looked chic and sophisticated as she was seen arriving at a screening of her new Netflix film “Maria” on Monday night.
The actress was spotted donning an elegant tan trench coat over a long black velvet dress and pointy black pumps—which has been sort of her uniform as of late. The shoe style appeared to be crafted with genuine leather with a slight sheen and featured a high stiletto heel measuring about 4 inches tall.
While Jolie is often seen sporting Christian Louboutin pumps, the pair she wore yesterday lacked the iconic footwear brand’s signature red soles (AKA red bottoms). One of her go-to Louboutin styles is the Dolly pump, which boasts a rounded toe and a glossy patent leather finish.
Aside from Louboutin, some of the “Girl, Interrupted” star’s other favorite shoe brands include Roger Vivier, Aquazzura, Saint Laurent, Valentino, and Chloe. Recently, she’s been spotted in Valentino’s V-logo slip-on sandals, Chloe’s Owena stud-embellished platform sandals, Saint Laurent’s Dune slingback pumps, and Aquazzura’s Sundance leather platform sandals. She’s also a fan of Casadei’s popular Blade stiletto pumps.
Last fall, the Oscar winner launched Atelier Jolie, a fashion-focused business venture with a brick-and-mortar location in New York City. The three-floor, 6,600-square-foot space at 57 Great Jones Street is the former studio of renowned American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Atelier Jolie includes a retail area as well as a cafe, giving customers the option to sample food and drinks while consulting designers for custom pieces.
Atelier Jolie launched a capsule collection in collaboration with Chloé in January 2024. Jolie and the French luxury brand’s former creative director Gabriela Hearst co-designed the ready-to-wear clothing and accessories. Pieces like a scoop-neck belted silk maxi dress and a velvet clutch bag can be found on bergdorfgoodman.com and neimanmarcus.com.
Her outing took place the night before Jolie’s new video ad campaign for Tom Ford Beauty’s Runway Lip Color was released. On Tuesday, the company shared a video on Instagram calling her a “true lip icon,” as she was announced to be brand’s first celebrity face for beauty earlier this year.
