British Harper’s Bazaar stays winning. After all, covers over recent months starring the likes of Kate Winslet, Venus Williams, and Lupita Nyong’o have impressed us to no end. Therefore, we aren’t at all surprised to see the magazine closing out 2024 on a high, with its annual “Women of the Year” edition. Lydia Slater celebrates Sophie Turner, Ambika Mod, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, and Victoria Beckham via the December 2024/January 2025 covers of British Harper’s Bazaar for the occasion. Turner is captured by Emma Summerton in a look from Louis Vuitton (unsurprisingly). Agata Pospieszynska shot a Christian Dior-clad Ambika Mod while Luc Braquet was called upon to capture Katarina Johnson-Thompson (decked out in Shushu/Tong). In the fourth and final cover, Victoria Beckham suits up a look from her namesake fashion label and is photographed by Boo George.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Sophie Turner’s cover is the best. She looks stunning,” enthused fauxfashion.
“The Sophie Turner cover looks like they Photoshopped the cigarette she was holding out of the photo,” pointed out forum member KoV.
“I do not know most of these women but I do like all of the covers,” voiced MModa. “I like the styling and color palette. Johnson-Thompson’s cover is my favorite and Turner’s my least favorite. The black polka dots look out of place with the other cover options.”
Srdjan simply wasn’t impressed, commenting: “Not sure about any. None say December, festivity, or glamour!”
“Feels generic, as a whole series,” jeremydante critiqued.
“Saw the Victoria Beckham cover in the shop and it has a beautiful silvery finish on the text. The whole effect against the whiteness of the shot was just lovely; very festive and very tempting,” admired LastNight.
“I came here to say the same thing!” replied vogue28. “Saw the Victoria Beckham cover and thought it was gorgeous. I was also an admirer of the silvery finish and the cover overall. It did indeed feel very celebratory and festive!”
