Kat Graham decided monochromatic was the vibe fore the night at the 15th Annual Governor Awards on Sunday. The singer wore a strapless yellow dress for the event’s red carpet.
Paired with the dress, Graham chose a pair of yellow pumps. The shoes feature a pointed toe. They also included a slightly higher back collar than most pumps. the vamp on the silhouette is rounded. They sit on a stiletto heel of likely around four inches.
In addition, this pair of pumps include a fringe-like tassel on the back of each shoe. Also in yellow, they provide a bit of fun as flare on what could be seen as a fairly standard design. Graham has a habit of choosing pieces, particularly shoes and other accessories, that have a dramatic or whimsical flair. This has included mule loafers with an oversized gold medallion on the vamp as well as polka dot pumps wrapped in ruffled tulle. Graham has recently been working with stylist Alison Hernon.
The tassels on these pumps also seem to bring to mind Sean McGirr’s Alexander McQueen. For his debut collection at the brand, the designer released a pair of boots that featured hair emerging from the backs of them. Those have been worn by Rosalia as well as FKA Twigs.
