TAG Heuer Drops Limited Edition Australian Aquaracer Solargraph… & It’s A Ripper, Rita

  • TAG Heuer and Time+Tide have collaborated to release a special edition Aquaracer.
  • TAG Heuer continues its tradition of exclusive releases for the Australian market.
  • The TAG Heuer X Time+Tide Aquaracer is inspired by WA’s untamed Kimberley region.

In the northernmost tip of Western Australia, you’ll find Kimberley, an untamed expanse of Australia’s unique and wild beauty; where rugged red cliffs meet the deep blue ocean, ancient gorges cut through vast plains, and the Australian sun sets in a spectacular explosion of orange and pink hues.

This remote region is home to some of the planet’s most breathtaking landscapes, where every corner feels untouched by time. It’s here that TAG Heuer has taken its eternal inspiration for its latest collaboration with Australian watch nerds (and our friends) Time+Tide.

For years, TAG Heuer has enjoyed a special placeholder in Australia’s attractive horological market, releasing exquisite pieces exclusive to watch enthusiasts Down Under. The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph Sundowner Time+Tide Limited Edition continues this tradition with a celebration of this special relationship, and a poignant release to celebrate 10 years of Time+Tide.

TAG Heuer Aquaracer

Inspired by the brand’s long-standing connection to water sports, the first TAG Heuer Aquaracer was a versatile dive watch that took TAG Heuer’s technical prowess away from the thrilling limits of the world of motorsport and into the depths of the deep blue.

With features like a unidirectional rotating bezel for timing dives, a durable stainless steel case, and water resistance up to 300 metres, it was purpose-built for the unpredictable demands of scuba diving.

Over the years, the Aquaracer evolved somewhat, incorporating advanced materials like aerospace grade titanium, innovative ceramic material, and now solar technology, while remaining true to its heritage as a robust timepiece for adventurers and professionals alike… and this latest Time+Tide exclusive has raised the bar again.

Limited to just 250 pieces, this latest Aquaracer Solargraph is a ripper. But with a sandblasted titanium case, khaki NATO strap, and 18K rose gold-plated accents, this is a watch that has much more going for it than its obvious good looks; it’s a pragmatic piece built to withstand the harshest conditions, reflective of the vast Kimberley landscape that inspired it.

TAG Heuer has introduced an anthracite sunray dial accented with warm 18K 5N rose gold elements, reflective of Kimberley’s inherent beauty. Each fleeting glance at the dial mirrors the interplay of light and shadow found in this remote part of WA’s landscape, ready to illuminate any adventure.

This TAG is packed with enviable features that have become synonymous with the Aquaracer Solargraph edition since its launch in 2022, such as a robust 40mm sandblasted titanium case that ensures durability without compromising on comfort, and water resistance up to 200 metres, making it an ideal companion for outdoor adventures.

Harnessing Light: The Power of Solargraph Technology

Beneath this piece’s semi-translucent dial, solar cells quietly go to work, capturing energy from both natural and artificial light sources to power the TH50-00 Solargraph movement. This innovative Solargraph technology allows the watch to achieve a full charge in just 40 hours of exposure, offering up to 10 months of autonomy, even in complete darkness.
