New Balance 1000 Auburn M1000FLU

New Balance has been pushing all the right buttons when it comes to the 1000 model, with collaborations by KITH and Joe Freshgoods helping draw eyes to an applaudable slate of inline releases. This “Navy/Coral” colorway is next in line, and while not an official collab by any means, we’re getting an “Auburn” feel from the colors used; perfect for cheering on the #1 ranked Tigers during their March Madness push.

The New Balance 1000 doesn’t stick to any one material composition, but cycles through a whole host of different textures. This upcoming colorway features leather, suede, and fishnet-patterned ripstop up top, producing a somewhat sporty vibe in tandem with the colors at play. The color blocking heightens focus on the abstract “dad shoe” silhouette, starting first with light grey treatments on the tongue, lining, and leather panel hosting the eyelets. Light blue ripstop then peeks through on the base, while “Navy” suede on the mudguard, heel, and toe portions paves a seamless transition into the midsole. Last but not least, “Coral” hits on the New Balance logo and other accent elements produce a tie-in with “Auburn” school colors.

The New Balance 1000 “Navy/Coral” aka “Auburn” is due out Spring 2025 and carries the usual $150 retail price. See official images below if you’re considering picking up a pair.
