Where is Sydney Sweeney going? Honestly, I don’t know. Where is she heading? Not sure of that either. But what I do know is that every look the Euphoria star has stepped out in lately has been an absolute hit.
Before the snow painted New York City white on Saturday, Sydney was spotted in Greenwich Village, delivering a masterclass in chic winter dressing. She wore a black Ferragamo turtleneck dress, but the real star of this look was the shearling cape with a leather belt. Equal parts graceful and gritty, this cape wasn’t just an accessory; it was the accessory. Paired with leather gloves and brown boots, Sydney nailed a look that was not only stylish but also perfectly colour coordinated. A Chloe bag added the finishing touch, making this ensemble a triumph of winter layering.
Fast forward to the next day in SoHo, and Sydney leaned into a winter white dream with a Burberry Fall 2024 belted corduroy trench coat. The coat’s luxurious shearling cuffs and hem practically begged to be worn in a snowstorm. With a white turtleneck, matching trousers, boots, and a Burberry Knight Arc bag, she looked like the snow queen of downtown chic. Top it off with Celine Triomphe shades, and Sydney turned a snowy SoHo day into an impromptu snowball fight and a high-fashion moment.
Yesterday, Midtown saw Sydney channel her inner Sienna Miller in a Chloé Fall 2024 look that screamed “elevated boho in the city.” While I will strongly argue that the belt wasn’t entirely necessary, the rest of the outfit? Absolute perfection. This ensemble felt more transitional—like it was ready to usher in spring while still acknowledging winter’s lingering chill.
But the pièce de résistance? A Brunello Cucinelli look that has me inspired to match taupe and caramel accessories. Her luxe cashmere, a wool coat, tailored trousers, and buttery accessories all came together for a look that was effortlessly elegant. If I could raid one outfit from this fashion marathon, it would be this one, hands down.
These are Sydney’s first looks of 2025, and they are both aspirational and downright enviable. Winter style has rarely looked this good.
