Air Jordan 14 “Ferrari” Releasing Summer 2025 IF5015-600

Eleven years after its original release, the Air Jordan 14 “Ferrari” will return Summer 2025; another standout pair on an already applaudable Jordan Release Dates 2025 calendar.

As made obvious by the shoe’s unofficial nickname, the design is inspired by Michael Jordan’s love for sports cars; specifically his Ferrari 550 Maranello, which was featured in The Last Dance. In fact, the model itself draws from that same inspiration, meticulously crafted by Tinker Hatfield to evoke the aesthetics of high-octane vehicles. Triangular Jumpman branding on the lateral sides is the most glaring evidence to that claim, a clear nod to the Ferrari logo and a consistent feature on all pairs since the model’s inception.

The red, yellow, and black “Ferrari” colorway first released in 2014, sixteen years after the model’s debut, and instantly became one of the most sought-after AJ14s there is. In lieu of toe caps, ribbed perforations, and other overlays common across several AJ14 colorways, the “Ferrari” keeps things classy with only two “Challenge Red” suede textiles; one each on the lateral and medial sides. “Vibrant Yellow” hits on the tongue and quarter/heel branding produce a clear tie to the colors used in the official Ferrari logo, while chromatic and carbon fiber midsole treatments build further on the overarching theme.

It will take some time for official images to arrive, but given the shoe’s “Challenge Red/Black/Vibrant Yellow/Anthracite” color palette corroborated by @zsneakerheadz, we can expect pairs to look close if not identical to the original colorway from 2014 (pictured below). Discounting a tangential “Yellow Ferrari” version that released in 2019, the shoes have never seen a proper retro.

Steering focus to a more immediate release, the Jordan 14 “Black Toe” drops November 2nd, 2024.
