As mentioned towards the top, the “White Thunder” flips the color-blocking introduced with the 2006 Air Jordan 4 “Thunder,” a pair later retro’ed in 2012 & 2023 and given a sequel with the “Red Thunder” in 2022. It’s not hard to see why the layout of those shoes has become a standard; clean black nubuck uppers are paired with an accent shade on the TPU eye stays and underneath the iconic window at the quarter. All told, it presents easily-worn style on a silhouette that persists as the king of the Air Jordan catalog.
