There was plenty more glamour to be had on the red carpet for the Metropolitan Opera Opening Night Gala Premiere of ‘Grounded’ with ‘Wolfs’ lead actress Amy Ryan in attendance.
While Christine Baranski’s all-white look may have left some undecided, Amy’s delivered a fresh take on gala glamour that is hard to resist.
The ‘Wolfs’ lead actress wore an Ulla Johnson Valeria gown from the Fall 2024 collection, offering a masterclass in autumnal elegance.
What’s not to love about the rich brown hue of this gown, or the shimmering crushed metallic taffeta fabric that gave the dress a luxe yet understated vibe? The colour felt like a nod to the changing season, perfect for a September evening. The ruffled details added just the right touch of flair, elevating the look without overwhelming it.
Amy’s accessories were equally well-chosen. A gold clutch and floral gold earrings complemented the warm tones of the gown, tying the entire outfit together seamlessly. The overall effect was clean, simple, and impeccably styled—exactly what effortless gala dressing should look like.
This look feels lush, warm, and inviting. It’s a look that exudes sophistication without trying too hard, and it perfectly captured the mood of the evening.
