I admittedly never got through Baby Reindeer. I’ve heard I should try and press through it, but I just don’t respond at all to the lead actor and do not want to know what happens to him (even though I do know, because it’s semi-autobiographical, and also it’s been in the news; it’s another thing going on a journey with him). But I will say that, from what I saw, Jessica Gunning was excellent and I’m happy for her that she was the sole focus of this particular FYC. She’s on a Stephen Merchant show as well, called The Outlaws, and it made me tempted to check that out instead. Anyway, I like the idea of this a lot, but wish it had slightly fewer dangly swingy bits that hang like a gilded sneeze. The one shooting out of the vicinity of her nipple looks like a clump of hair. I don’t know whether to pluck it or braid it.
