Unrelated to her look, but related to this event: I recently read a variety of articles (random people writing things on various awards-centric subReddits) theorizing that this year’s Best Actress race is VERY weak and that Angelina will very likely get a nomination. (I also read a related thread hypothesizing that Angelina’s level of fame and talent hugely outshine her actual filmography, and I tend to agree.) I’m delighted by the idea of an Angelina Jolie awards season press push, even if we all know in our hearts that she will conduct the entire Oscars campaign in a variety of tasteful neutrals. HAVING SAID THAT: I think she looks totally kick-ass here and will cross my fingers that somehow she’ll decide to do this Oscar campaigning in leather pants.
