Make no mistake that Angelina Kendall is a rising star within the world of modeling. Subsequent to bursting onto the fashion scene in early 2023, we’ve witnessed the fresh-faced Brazilian-Kiwi newcomer become the face of Fendi and Tom Ford (for the current Spring 2024 season alone) and grace the covers of Vogue Italia, Vogue Mexico and M Le Magazine du Monde. Christine Centenera at Vogue Australia is the latest to celebrate the Sydney-born beauty, splashing Kendall across not one but three celebratory covers for April 2024. Centenera commissioned Juergen Teller to capture Angelina on location Paris, within the grounds of Australian Embassy to be exact, and is dressed in looks from the Spring 2024 Haute Couture creations of Christian Dior, Fendi and Chanel across the trio of collectable (and highly-questionable) covers.
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“I do like Angelina, but I’m not sure what on earth about this cover is deemed ‘collectable’ worthy,” voiced marsnoop2.
“Was this shot on an iPhone? Damn…” shrieked an unforgiving thiago.
“OMG, they have money for such a famous photographer but the result is terrible,” caioherrero exclaimed.
Vogue28 wasn’t exactly best impressed either, commenting: “Absolutely adore Angelina Kendall and love the fact she’s on the cover of Vogue Australia but this just ain’t it. Angelina deserved far better! Drab beyond belief, mostly because of Juergen Teller’s pedestrian photography. A massively missed opportunity!”
In complete agreement was ivano: “Drives me crazy that with such a strong model, Vogue Australia gave us this result. Angelina Kendall deserves a lot better!”
