Between the 2025 AFI Awards and the Wicked LA screening, Ariana Grande has had a whirlwind of a week, and this weekend is likely to be even busier.
But she still found time to stop by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, where she charmed the audience with stories about her Oscar nomination for Wicked, unexpected congratulatory calls from her therapist and gynaecologist, her mum’s wild red carpet antics, and retraining her vocal cords to sing like Glinda.
And, of course, she had the internet in a chokehold with her “Wing It or Sing It” segment, effortlessly belting out an improvised song about her petite stature (as only Ariana can).
For the occasion, Ariana slipped into a black-and-white Celine mini bow accented dress, embodying the brand’s signature feminine sophistication. This look suits her style sensibilities to a T—polished, classic, and just the right amount of playful. If we’re comparing, I’d take this over her Loewe AFI Awards dress any day.
Some might find it a bit too twee, but Ariana has always leaned into this kind of vintage, ultra-girly aesthetic, and when it works, it works. The addition of black tights and pumps kept things sleek and cohesive, rounding out a look that felt effortlessly chic.
It may not have been the standout look of the week, but it was the most Ariana look of the week.
