Molly-Mae Hague stepped out this evening at the Odeon Luxe West End for the special screening of her new docuseries, Molly-Mae: Behind It All. Naturally, all eyes were on her—not just for the much-anticipated documentary, which promises to delve into her break-up with Tommy Fury and the balancing act of motherhood and career as she launches her new brand Maebe.
I would have expected her to have worn her own label, but Molly-Mae, who is practically synonymous with style, arrived in a sleek, monochromatic look. However, her Deme by Gabriella three-piece cream ensemble—while chic—had a few issues.
Let’s start with the good: the oversized coat with its delicate ruching details was an absolute winner. It felt effortlessly glamorous and modern, and Molly-Mae made the look her own by styling the top classically rather than asymmetrically, as seen in the lookbook. These personal touches are what make her such a fashion favourite.
Now, onto the not-so-good. Those trousers. Molly-Mae usually nails her tailoring to perfection, so seeing the Victoria Beckham-esque floor-sweeping length was unexpected—and not in a good way. Were they meant to mop the streets of London? It’s a puzzling misstep from someone typically so precise.
But here’s the thing about Molly-Mae: even when it’s not perfect, she still makes it work. The cream-on-cream palette is stunning, and the overall vibe radiates a quiet confidence befitting someone sharing her life’s highs and lows with the world.
Flawed but fabulous—just like her docuseries promises to be.
