Blake Lively, the originator of the multi-looks in one day press tour trend, continued to promote her new film, ‘It Ends With Us,’ by sharing a series of stunning pictures on her Instagram with the caption, “The closest I’ll ever get to my sugar plum fairy dreams… .”
Her post featured a whimsical ensemble by Bode, consisting of a fluffy white princess tulle skirt accented with a embroidered belt waistband, paired with a crop top. However, the look became even more captivating in another picture, where she added a blazer etched with child-like drawings.
While some might assume these drawings were designed by her children, similar to Angelina Jolie’s wedding gown, this unique piece was also from Bode.
Tutus, traditionally associated with ballet, evoke a sense of whimsical femininity and playful sophistication. Yet, for me, this piece immediately brings to mind Carrie Bradshaw, who made tutus popular with her unforgettable opening sequence in ‘Sex And The City.’ Much like Carrie Bradshaw, Blake’s playful and bold fashion choice, paired with her charismatic personality, exudes endless charm.
Complemented by Christian Louboutin sandals and jewels from Chanel, Inez Stodel, Brent Neale and Jacquie Aiche, Blake’s latest look is a testament to her status as someone who plays by her own fashion rules.
If you’re having a case of déjà vu, it’s because Maude Apatow wore this look to the 2023 Vogue World Party with a bridal inspired veil.
