When Blake Lively embarked on the press tour for ‘It Ends With Us,’ it seemed she might be taking a more relaxed approach to her signature multi-look routine. However, it soon became clear that the actress was merely pacing herself, showcasing her fashion prowess over several days as each outing has brought a new ensemble, proving once again why she remains a press tour icon.
A Versace (Mis)Adventure
The weekend began with a Versace Resort 2025 look that had potential but she lost me by keeping the yellow tights. While the floral embroidery and embellished ladybirds were charming, the overall effect with both pieces felt overwhelming. However, I can see why Blake felt it would look charming to keep the full look.
Chanel’s Fresh Appeal
The next look was from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2024 collection. I’m sure you are looking at the printed denim jeans and seeing them as a huge step up from the cut-out Valentino jeans she wore earlier on this press tour. Paired with a light print top, the ensemble had a fresh, appealing vibe. Adding to the glamour, Blake accessorised with a Chanel floral embellished bag and blue Louboutin So Kate pumps, perfectly complementing her look.
Floral Fantasy at Betty Blooms
Celebrating ‘It Ends With Us’ at the Betty Blooms pop-up, Blake dazzled in a pink Dauphinette embellished dress paired with a Péro coat adorned with floral embroidery. On anyone else, this combination might have seemed overdone, but Blake’s “more-is-more” styling ethos was on full display with floral hair accessories, emerald statement jewels, and Malone Souliers Josephine pumps.
Oscar de la Renta E-leg-ance
There is something about this strapless floral dress from the Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2024 collection featuring decadent floral embroidery, which lends artful appeal while continuing the florist floral theme, that reminds me of Blake during the Gossip Girl days when she wore a lot of Marchesa and Versace dresses oozing this same kind of flair. I also fully appreciate how she let the dress do all the talking on this occasion.
Bright and Bold Sunday
Sunday saw Blake in a vibrant Christopher John Rogers Resort 2025 polka dot and floral print look. While the bold combination of prints might be too much for some, Blake’s muted styling made it work. She struck the perfect balance, avoiding overkill and delivering a head-turning outfit.
Versace Misstep
This Versace Spring 2024 outfit with logo-patched underwear and a nonsensical black band felt disjointed.
Vintage Galliano Dior
Blake started Monday with a bang, appearing on the CBS Morning Show in a vintage Dior Fall 1997 suit by John Galliano. The blue brocade flower motifs gave off anchorwoman vibes, reminiscent of Zendaya’s moment in vintage Thierry Mugler earlier this year. While some might find this look a bit dated, it was a delightful change of pace, and the accessories added a fun twist.
Given Blake’s love for a fashion marathon, it’s safe to say we can expect more stunning looks as the press tour continues today.
Until then, which look stands out for you the most here?
