Megalopolis is Francis Ford Coppola’s latest, an absolute passion project of his, and Vulture called it “a work of absolute madness” and “totally nuts,” in a review that I’d still deem mixed! (Don’t get me going on my rant about we all need to be more accepting of creative works that are imperfect or even bad, but still interesting.) The pull quote there is likely the kicker: “Megalopolis might be the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy every single batshit second of it.” I’m in!
