Here is a roundup from the rest of the notable looks from the 2024 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, held at Claridge’s Hotel in London on Tuesday.
After wrapping the ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 press tour, Nicola Coughlan embraced a new kind of glamour. Though black isn’t my preferred colour, I’ve noticed it’s been her go-to shade this season (aside from her Emmys look). Here, she channels a refined ‘50s vibe in a classic black Dior suit, complete with a Stephen Jones veil and TASAKI Jewelry. The vintage-inspired styling feels fresh, proving that Nicola never fails to keep things interesting.
Jodie Comer, a known fan of classic black suits, surprised me with this festive twist—a shimmering chocolate-brown mini dress from 16Arlington’s Spring 2025 collection. The sequined number exudes seasonal cheer and feels perfect for the occasion, though the footwear choice left me wanting a little more alignment with the party-ready vibe.
Honoured for her recent Olympic silver medal win, Katarina Johnson-Thompson wore a rich chocolate floral jacquard dress from Emilia Wickstead’s Fall 2024 collection. The godet details in the skirt give the gown a sculptural elegance, making her look worthy of a true champion. This dress feels both structured and graceful—a fitting match for her powerful presence.
Known for her bold high-glam looks, Maya Jama took a more understated route with a Bottega Veneta leather short-sleeve dress. Leather can be a challenging fabric to pull off, and while this look leans towards minimalism, it left me wishing for a touch more of her usual dramatic flair.
Raye stepped out in a Connor Ives Fall 2024 look, though it could have used a bit more polish. The elements were there, but something about the execution didn’t quite hit the mark for this otherwise bold ensemble.
While I generally dislike floor-skimming trousers, I’m completely captivated by the fabric of Victoria Beckham’s shimmering suit. There’s something mesmerising about the texture that made her stand out even with her minimalist aesthetic.
