Celebrities at the Chanel Fall 2025 Show

As we (and the ambassadors) eagerly await the arrival of Matthieu Blazy as Chanel’s new creative director next month, the house delivered one of its strongest collections in recent memory. It had everything you want from Chanel: bows, impeccable tweed, and—mercifully—no questionable white Lycra tights. But what about the front row? Let’s just say, for a house built on timeless elegance, there were some surprisingly fresh moments.

Classic Chanel tweed, but make it youthful

Rebecca Armstrong perfectly showcased how Chanel’s classic tweed suits can feel fresh and modern. The pink, blue, green, and yellow glitter tweed jacket with a matching skirt from the Pre-Fall 2025 collection radiated charm and vibrancy, helped along by a coordinating pink top. The Chanel necklace and silver quilted clutch added just the right amount of polish without veering into predictable territory. Thankfully she didn’t fancy the runway boots.

A jumpsuit that finally delivers

Wow. A Charlotte Casiraghi Chanel look I actually love. I’ve always had a soft spot for jumpsuits, but this is the first time in a long while I have been enamoured by her in Chanel. The black, pink, white, and gold glitter tweed jacket paired with a matching jumpsuit from the Spring 2025 collection didn’t age her—if anything, it was one of her most dynamic Chanel outings yet, and I love how it was tailored for a much narrower, and flattering fit. I’m in shock.

A Naomi Campbell Chanel moment I actually buy

The same sentiment applies to Naomi Campbell. Despite being a longtime friend of the house, Chanel has never felt like the most natural fit for her. But this? A short box-pleated dress in shimmering lavender tweed from Chanel’s Spring 2025 Haute Couture collection, complete with an embroidered multicoloured sequin plastron and delicate braided details? This was beautiful. The bow in her hair sealed the deal—dainty and elegant without feeling twee. Chanel Fine Jewelry and a Première Edition Originale watch completed her look.

Chic and understated with a modern edge

Riley Keough opted for a Chanel Pre-Fall 2025 black tweed jacket, layered over a black embroidered vest and ecru silk satin pants. It was a refined, no-fuss approach to Chanel that stayed true to her low-key aesthetic.

Letting the tweed do all the talking

Chanel ambassador Wang Yibo made his black and gold tweed jacket the star of the show, keeping everything else pared back. The addition of Chanel necklaces gave the look a little extra edge.

A Chanel pink moment done right

Tyla looked effortlessly pretty in a Chanel dark pink fantasy tweed jacket, matching top, and skirt. It was a perfect fit for her style aesthetic—sexy, feminine but not overly sweet. Chanel Fine Jewelry provided the finishing touch.

With plenty of classic Chanel signatures and a few unexpected wins, this front row was a reminder of why the house continues to have such enduring appeal. Now, let’s see what Matthieu Blazy brings to the table.
