Dior had a major presence at the 2025 Critics’ Choice Awards, dressing seven celebrities in everything from breathtaking couture to refined menswear. It was a mix of fresh surprises, signature elegance, and a little bit of the unexpected.
Finally, a Fashion Fairytale We Haven’t Seen Before
If you’re anything like me, you’re saying finally with regards to Ariana Grande’s Dior Spring 2025 Haute Couture dress. The actress has been so caught up in a vintage and fairy-tale vision that I’m thrilled to see her step into something that feels both fresh and unlike anything we’ve ever seen from her before. The gown, with its tulle embroidery, natural raffia, organza flowers, and straw trimmings over a grosgrain crinoline cage skirt, is a work of art. It’s romantic but with a slightly raw, almost nature-inspired twist.
Thankfully, the black custom Jimmy Choo Romy pumps melt into the red carpet instead of distracting from the intricate detailing. Bucherer Fine Jewellery completed her look. More of this, please.

A Golden Goddess with a Fiery Twist
Leighton Meester was an ethereal vision in a Dior gold-embellished tulle gown with exposed boning. The soft, shimmering fabric played beautifully against her new red hair colour, which I love. It gives her a fresh edge while still keeping the look soft and romantic. For Ever Fine Jewelry added the perfect finishing touch.

Classic, but Make It Cool
Leighton wasn’t just there to turn heads—she was also supporting her husband, Adam Brody, who won Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Nobody Wants This. His sleek Dior Men’s Collection tuxedo was timeless in silhouette but modernised by the lack of a tie, which gave the look a cool, effortless feel. Santoni boots and a Cartier timepiece ensured he looked impeccably polished. He was a winner in every sense—both in comedy and in style.

A Velvet Dream
Industry actress Marisa Abela opted to not go back to black, and honestly, I’m obsessed with this Dior gown. The deep, dark red velvet is hypnotic. The richness of the fabric and the intensity of the hue push this into one of my favourites of the night. It’s sultry, regal, and just the right amount of drama.

Gothic Couture or Holy Chic?
Interview with the Vampire actress Delainey Hayles sought some spiritual healing in this Dior Resort 2025 black velvet long dress with a lace collar. It’s giving me nun habit vibes in the most high-fashion way possible. Whether she’s channeling gothic couture or a rebellious take on convent chic, it’s certainly a statement. You may remember that Sarah Paulson wore this same gown to the ‘Hold Your Breath’ Beyond Fest screening back in September.
Making Menswear Fun since 2024
If you’ve been following my coverage, you know Ethan Herisse is one of my faves—and once again, he did not disappoint. The Nickel Boys actor opted out of a standard black tux and into this Dior Men’s Fall 2025 pink Oblique jacket, complete with a bow detail on the back.
The smart styling—black trousers and shoes—allowed the jacket to take center stage. I love how he consistently makes formalwear feel fresh and interesting.

Adrien Brody stuck to his signature aesthetic, reverting back to classic elegance in a navy Dior Men’s Collection tuxedo. It’s a tried-and-true formula for him, but hey—if it works, it works. And he looked good.
