Chappell Roan wowed the crowd on day one of Lollapalooza 2024 held in Chicago on Aug. 1.
For her exciting set, the “Hot To Go” singer laced into a pair of ultra-colorful Adidas sneakers. The low-top style featured dark and light gray uppers with Adidas’ signature striping on the side in contrasting neon orange and blue, making the silhouette instantly recognizable. Practical light gray laces and non-slip rubber soles rounded out the set.
Simple but comfy, Roan’s footwear choice for the stage allowed her a wide range of movement, making her performance-ready. The singer’s style is comparable to Adidas’ Gazelle Indoor sneaker fixed with a linen and neon orange colorway. Whatever the silhouette may be, the sneaker perfectly coordinated with Roan’s ensemble for her performance, matching the color scheme and attitude effortlessly.
The “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl” singer was styled in a BDSM meets wrestling-inspired ensemble in metallic blue and neon pink hues. Completed with a luchador mask, Roan’s look was comprised of a latex body jumpsuit fixed with cut-out detailing throughout accompanied by a thick metallic silver, pink and blue belt.
Matching cuffs around her ankles and wrists solidified the wrestling theme while black leather harness-inspired bicep cuffs and textural tassel detailing brought the BDSM themes to life. It wouldn’t be a Chappell Roan look without face paint. The star’s visage was covered in stark-white paint with graphic glittery eye makeup. Roan’s firey red hair was slicked back and out of her face.
Lollapalooza 2024 is a multi-day music festival spanning from Aug. 1 to the 4th in Chicago. The famed festival aims to offer upcoming and well-established musicians a platform to share their musical talents. This year’s line-up includes the likes of Kesha, The Killers, Deftones, K-pop group IVE, Ethel Cain, Victoria Monet, Kevin Abstract, SZA and Megan Thee Stallion, among a slew of others.
