Chemena Kamali continues to overhaul ChloĆ©, in an attempt to return the French fashion house to its former glory. Following on from the immense success of Kamaliās debut Fall 2024 outing as creative director during Paris Fashion Week, weāve got a clear understanding of the direction Kamali is taking. The unveiling of a Pre-Fall 2024 collection and accompanying advertising campaign have since followed, and the ChloĆ© Resort 2025 collection just dropped. Again, itās an overload of 70s eccentricity and big on boho-chic. Inspired by the archives, Kamali is still paying homage to the late Karl Lagerfeld who served as ChloĆ© creative director from 1963 to 1983 and 1992 to 1997 for a covetable collection of blouses, billowing dresses, leather shorts, gold lamĆ© tunics, and checkered blazers.

āWho did the styling ? Thatās not good at all and too much bags. They are not even good bags.ā [GivenchyAddict]
āWow, this is kind of brutal. The images against black look like a Kohls campaign from 2008. Nobody is checking for baby doll dresses in 2024. All that is missing is a boot leg Miu Miu sparrow print and an owl necklace.ā [TianCouture]
āIt feels very disjointed and quite Junior even if her vision for Chloe is right. The styling is terribleā¦ā [Lola701]
āPresentation makes it look like Forever 21.ā [Urban Stylin]
āThis look is already getting tired.ā [Kennnnn]
āA never-ending loop of ruffles, flou, fringes; and the rest of boho crap. ChloĆ© is now ClichĆ©.ā [jeanclaude]
āThose sneakers, the yellow leather shorts and the baby doll dresses I canāt stand. They tried for a care-free ājust threw this onā kind of styling but it doesnāt work. Ends up being all over the place. The bags arenāt the greatest, but Iāve also seen worse.ā [Cocteau Stone]
āHopefully Chemena Kamali has more up her sleeves for the upcoming shows. Unless it will get one-note quick.ā [tourbillions]
