Would it be weird to have a Best Dressed of the Year list where Colman Domingo takes up eight of the ten spots, leaving just one each for Matt Bomer and Lewis Hamilton?
Because, honestly, at this point, it feels inevitable.
Colman has been on a flawless run this season, and the 2025 Critics’ Choice Awards were no exception. Dressed in an every-shade-of-brown BOSS suit, featuring a silk shirt, a neckerchief, and a calf-hair coat to end all calf-hair coats, he left me speechless—again.
I mean, how many ways can one describe sartorial perfection? Because I’m running out.
And it’s not just about the clothes. It’s the presence, the confidence, the effortless swagger that makes every single look a moment. He’s not just dressing well; he’s redefining what red carpet menswear can be.
It’s like he’s playing an entirely different game—one where he’s already won, and everyone else is just catching up.
Yes, brown may have been the It colour of 2024, but in 2025, Colman Domingo has made it clear: it’s here with a vengeance.
And with back-to-back looks from AMIRI, Balmain, and BOSS just this week, I have high hopes that his Valentino era is officially on pause. For now, at least. Let us pray.
