We skied it over to Paris to celebrate the upcoming release of our Converse One Star – size? exclusive, where we linked up with local tattoo artist and painter Dylan Long Cho.
After having given us a tour of his quaint studio, we were invited to be a fly on the wall in Dylan’s day in the life, and had the privilege of being able to see first-hand what it was all about to be a homegrown creative with an affinity for merging L.A. & Parisian cultures.
For the footwear itself, we’ve only made subtle size? tuned changes to the 1970s basketball silhouette that wrote its own way into ‘90s skateboarding culture. We wanted this one to feel like we’d plucked it straight from the pages of a vintage Thrasher magazine.
Housing decorative contrast stitching on the suede upper and a reinforced gum toe cap, our rendition of the Converse One Star keeps things structurally like-for-like with the OG. Lace dubraes with our famous question mark add personalised streetwise flair from atop the puffy laces, while CX foam cushioning ensures the veteran model is fitted with contemporary comfort.
The Converse One Star – size? exclusive is readily available online at size? from 26.07.24.
