Cynthia Erivo joined her Wicked co-star Ariana Grande for a lunch reception held in their honour in London on Wednesday, and let’s just say, she’s redefined what it means to wear double denim.
The British actress chose a standout look from Stella McCartney’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection, and no, this wasn’t your average denim-on-denim moment. The jacket and skirt combo was given the star-studded—literally—treatment decorated with hundreds of silver paillettes that transformed the ensemble from casual to high-fashion. The shimmering embellishments added a tough-luxe vibe, giving the look that signature bold edge we association with Cynthia’s style.
And because Cynthia doesn’t do anything halfway, she elevated the outfit even further with a pair of Christian Louboutin Dolly Boot Alta platforms.
One subtle detail worth mentioning: her nails. Or rather, the surprising lack of nail art we’ve come to associate with Cynthia’s red carpet appearances. For both of her recent press tour looks, the nails have taken a noticeable back seat, which feels like a deliberate choice to let her outfits do all the talking.
From the sparkle-packed denim to those sky-high boots, Cynthia’s look was equal parts glamour and grit.
