Emma Corrin made a head-turning return to the red carpet at the London premiere of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ this evening, following their appearance at the Berlin fan event.
They did not disappoint, showcasing an bold ensemble from the Schiaparelli Spring 2024 Haute Couture collection.
Marvel summer blockbusters are renowned for their dramatic and dynamic red carpet looks, and this event was no exception. Emma’s outfit, an asymmetrical crocodile-effect jacket with an oversized collar, stood out immediately. The jacket’s cowboy-inspired silver-plated buckles added a unique touch, complemented by a high-waisted corset belt. The extra-wide cotton denim trousers completed the ensemble, creating a visually compelling and somewhat avant-garde appearance.
For some, this outfit might be perplexing, to say the least. The blend of bold elements—oversized collars, crocodile textures, and wide-legged denim—to some might appear overwhelming. However, Emma carries the look with an air of confidence that could transform any potential scepticism into admiration. It’s clear that Harry Lambert, their stylist, chose this outfit knowing Emma could pull it off with the necessary flair.
The key to this look’s success lies in Emma’s attitude and sartorial presence. They embody the ensemble with a confidence that sells the outfit’s unconventional aspects. However, not every element hits the mark for me. The cowboy boots, while they continue to trend thanks to Mrs Carter, don’t work for me as I have never really been a fan of them outside of Country Music ceremonies.
Overall, Emma’s look is yet another testament to their bold fashion sense and ability to embrace and elevate even the most daring looks. Did they sell this look to you?
