I’d like to thank this premiere for giving me the opening for my low-level rant about it: It’s WILD to me that an adaptation of a book for tiny little children is somehow PG rated. LET KIDS HAVE A G RATED MOVIE MY GOD. I feel very confident that whatever was put into this film that made it PG was not needed. It’s a book about a baby with a crayon!!!!
Anyway, I’m sure it’s still a-okay for the kids, I just feel like leaning into a G-rated movie might not be a bad idea! I do appreciate that everyone got the memo about the color story here. And I do mean everyone.
