Sneaker brand Gola is launching an exclusive collaboration with retailer and long-time partner Anthropologie.
Combining Gola’s brand identity of heritage-inspired footwear with Anthropologie’s bohemian vibes and aesthetic, this collection is led by two new colorways of the Gola x Anthropologie Stadium sneakers. Available in the shades Black/Chalk Pink and White/Black, the sneakers are crafted with a premium leather upper that itself is accentuated by suede overlays. Ribbon laces are present in both silhouettes, with the shoes being rounded out by a rubber outsole that provides adequate traction for walking and running on various weather pavements and terrains.
As for the comfort component, the shoes include a microfiber insole that supports the feet as you walk/run. The material of the insole is also sweat-wicking. The shoes are priced at $125 and $78 respectively. Also included in this collection is a jumpsuit, a romper, parachute pants and more, with prices ranging between $68 to $125.
According to both brands, this capsule was created to bring forth pieces with an emphasis on style and comfort, while also bringing forth a touch of vintage charm. Gola’s last major collaborative effort was in January of this year when they teamed up with New York clothing brand Engineered Garments for the 1970s-inspired Gola x EG Ranger, which was a part of the brand’s spring 2024 collection.
Coming in three different colorways, the style featured a hiker-jogger silhouette that was a hybrid between “Gola’s retro sports heritage” from the brand’s ’70s design notebooks and Engineered Garments’ specialized and meticulous garment construction.
Multi-layered colors and patterns were present amongst the design of the shoe, which emphasized a sporty modern style with its contoured shape, functional eyelet tabs and leather lining. Aside from Anthropologie and Engineered Garments, Gola has also collaborated with the likes of Zara, J. Crew, Dr. Martens and more.
The capsule is available to shop online via Anthropologie.
