The Inspiration

Emily shared, “The dress exuded such softness and ethereal grace that we sought to infuse the look with a sultry elegance, highlighting and defining her features to create a sculpted, lifted effect—delicate, yet effortlessly timeless.”

Complexion:

For a naturally radiant glow, Emily began by applying Hourglass’ Veil Hydrating Skin Tint in Shade 3 to Gracie’s skin, targeting the areas that need hydration for light coverage. Emily then went in with Hourglass’ best-selling Vanish Airbrush Concealer in Apricot and Crème, allowing it to set before gently tapping it out for a flawless, airbrushed finish.

Eyes

To create a soft smoky eye, Emily used Curator Eyeshadow in Coy, Mod, Ace, and Arc to sculpt and lift. She then applied 1.5MM Mechanical Gel Eye Liner in Canyon, softly smudging it along Gracie’s upper lash line, while creating a more defined, buffed-out look along the bottom lash line, gently tracing the waterline.

Brows

Next, Emily used Hourglass’ Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Dark Brunette to fill in sparse areas, creating natural, feathery strokes. She followed with the Arch Brow Volumizing Brow Gel in Dark Brunette, shaping the brows for a straight arch and lifting them upward for a more defined look.

Lips

Emily applied Hourglass’ Shape & Sculpt Lip Liner in shade Uncover 4, a true chestnut, starting at the outer corners and working toward the center of the bottom lip and cupid’s bow. She then softly buffed the edges with a touch of warm terracotta with Shape & Sculpt Lip Liner in shade Candid 4. For a more natural finish, she used her fingers to gently press Hourglass Unlocked Soft Matte Lipstick in shade Sparrow, a neutral deep rose, onto Gracie’s lips.

Finishing Touches

She set the sides of the nose with Vanish Airbrushed Pressed Powder in Light, leaving the rest of the face dewy. To highlight, she pressed Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick in Champagne Flash onto the high points of the face. A final touch of Ambient Lighting Blush in Vibrant Poppy added a soft, lifted flush to complete the look.
