Jennifer Lopez won something at “Indiewire Honors” for being an industry maverick. I did not personally remember the Indiewire Honors evening even EXISTED, which may be why they were inspired to give her a trophy in the first place. Not that J.Lo isn’t hard-working, or game for just about anything, even if she really, really should keep it all in her diary (ahem, This Is Me… Now). And I’ve heard she IS legitimately good in her latest, Unstoppable. But when you invite J.Lo to your niche awards ceremony with the promise of some hardware, you probably want her to wear something that will make people stare. I’m not sure what I’m staring AT, exactly, or how much of it is supposed to be on display. And her hair looks a little off, like whatever style they originally planned went haywire and they weren’t able to salvage the front. But she’s giving all of us gawkers something to talk about, and that’s probably the ultimate fulfillment of the brief.
