The highly anticipated ‘Wicked’ London premiere on Monday saw leading men Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, join Ariana Grande, and Cynthia Erivo on the red carpet. While the ladies dazzled, it was the men who brought charm and charisma with thoughtful nods to Emerald City.
Classic with a twist: tuxedo meets Emerald City elegance
Jonathan Bailey embraced James Bond vibes in a classic shawl-collar Ralph Lauren Collection tuxedo. While his textured New York premiere look divided opinions, this outing was a return to timeless sophistication. Yet, it wasn’t as straightforward as it seemed.
Jonathan added subtle nods to the Emerald City with an OMEGA De Ville Prestige watch featuring a green face, his shirt was customised with emerald-and-gold shirt studs by Emily P. Wheeler, and custom emerald-green velvet loafers by Santoni. A “classic” look, yes, but one steeped in clever, subtle thematic details

Burberry meets bold: a coat that’s pure Goldblum
Jeff Goldblum made a dramatic entrance in a Burberry ensemble featuring the house’s signature check tie. But, of course, the star’s pièce de résistance was the shearling-trimmed coat that perfectly captured his larger-than-life energy. Always one to surprise, Jeff added a playful nod to the Emerald City with green-lens glasses, because subtlety has never been his forte.
It’s always refreshing when sartorial choices go beyond the surface, and these two didn’t disappoint.
