Jordan Brand set the internet ablaze with their $1000 Jordan 1 last year, Beaverton’s entrance into a surprisingly crowded field of overseas-made, lavishly-lined iterations on classic silhouettes. While that shoe was largely kept from a wide US release, the brand is revisiting the concept with some help from a frequent partner, unveiling a Jordan Brand Paris Saint-Germain luxe streetwear capsule.
Though that ultra-premium Jordan 1 is present in some of these shots, sneakers aren’t the focus of this collection. Instead, that same concept of bringing luxury materials and craftsmanship spreads onto the Jumpman’s apparel offerings, essentially split into sport-style and high fashion halves.
The former covers an anthem track jacket, a co-branded warm-up jacket, a varsity jacket with leather Wings-inspired logos, a hoodie with an all-over Air Jordan / “ici c’est Paris” (this is Paris) print, and a diamond short made of 100% diamond wool. PSG’s fourth kits close out the collection, sliding in a more traditional embrace of the duo’s previous work.
Swapping to the latter, the standout piece is a full-length cashmere blend coat, hitting on proper luxury aesthetics in a sharp departure from mainline Jordan clothing. A wing-shaped calfskin handbag, wool sweater with stitching inspired by football nets, and leather pants round out the offerings.
The Jordan Wings Paris Saint-Germain apparel collection will exclusively release via the duo’s pop-up at Paris Fashion Week, running from January 21 to January 26. However, you’re not totally out of luck if you’re not local to France — the fourth kit will release on Jordan.com and via select retailers on January 22.
