The rollout for the Jordan Tatum 3 has eschewed the typical cadence. Rather than press releases and leaks, the cover of NBA 2K25, a tour through China and the Paris Olympics have brought us our first looks at Jayson’s third signature, building natural momentum before the shoe hits the market ahead of the upcoming season. More than a two months after that 2K moment, the Tatum 3 is raising the bar, as official images of the “10K Hours” colorway have just surfaced.
In case the nickname is lost on you, the “10K Hours” moniker stems from Tatum’s work ethic, referring the Malcolm Gladwell-led concept that it takes 10,000 hours of practice in any given discipline to reach true mastery. The motto is proudly stamped on the insole, clad in the “Seafoam” & “Apricot Agate” blend that defines the shoe overall. From there, the material composition of this shoe stands out as a major attention grabber. Mesh & synthetic sections swap between circular perforations, geometric grids, rough bumps and strict linework by the time you hit the outsole, plush embroidered sandwiched between each.
While Jordan Brand hasn’t yet revealed insight into how the Tatum 3 was design, it’s immediately apparent that the same concepts of Zen and tranquility are a guiding light with this new construction. Wavy cut-outs and indentations into the mesh upper reflect those aquatic themes, and the calm neutrals that define this colorway only enhance that atmosphere. The synthetic midsole pods that defined the predecessor may be gone, but curvilinear designs are still a major focus.
Again, there’s no official word on when the Jordan Tatum 3 will make its way to the public, but we’ll update this page and our Jordan Release Dates hub as information emerges. Expect a
