Keanu Reeves Stolen ‘John Wick’ Rolex Watches Recovered 6,000 Miles Away From Los Angeles

The Rolex timepieces are believed to have been stolen during a burglary at the actor’s Los Angeles home in late 2023.

Among the recovered items was a Rolex Submariner engraved with Reeves’ first name and the inscription, “2021, JW4, thank you, The John Wick Five.” This particular watch holds sentimental value, as Reeves famously gifted similar models to the stunt team of John Wick: Chapter 4 in 2021. The Rolex Submariner, one of the brand’s most iconic models, retails for approximately $9,000 USD / $13,500 AUD, according to the official Rolex website.

The discovery occurred during a police operation in eastern Santiago, Chile, targeting a string of local robberies. Authorities found a trove of jewellery and valuable watches, with at least one identified as belonging to a “famous actor” who had been victimised in the December 2023 break-in.

Chilean police, working alongside US officials, traced the stolen items back to Reeves’ burglary. A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the case.

This isn’t the first time the Hollywood star has fallen victim to crime. In 2014, Reeves endured back-to-back home invasions within three days, highlighting even high-profile celebrities’ vulnerabilities. Don’t they know who they’re messing with? It’s John Wick. The Baba Yaga.

Fans of the John Wick series may appreciate the irony of this real-life heist. The blockbuster franchise begins with Reeves’ character, a retired hitman, exacting revenge after his home is invaded, his dog killed, and his possessions stolen. Reeves’ representatives have yet to comment on the incident.
