Kendall Jenner, alongside Tommy Hilfiger, took a visit to the F1 Academy at Miami International Autodrome on Saturday in Miami in a pair of black loafers.
Typically photographed in classic footwear silhouettes designed in neutral colorways, Jenner is a certified fan of more traditional shoe styles. Recently, the model attended the Mercedes-Benz G-Class Electrifies Los Angeles world premiere held at Franklin Canyon Park in April while wearing a pair of boots in a chocolate brown colorway. Jenner’s shoes featured a square-toe silhouette, front center seam and an estimated 3-inch block heel.
The model has been linked to Tommy Hilfiger for many years, walking in the brand’s runway shows and sporting the designer’s Americana-inspired clothing in her personal life. Most recently, Jenner starred alongside five of her friends in Tommy Hilfiger‘s newest advertising campaign showcasing pieces from the brand’s spring 2024 collection.
About the Shoes
Jenner’s loafers, designed in a rich black leather and polished with a satin finish, feature a flat sole and pointed-toe silhouette. Additionally, the shoes are adorned with a leather stitching detail on the top front.
A number of celebrities have been spotted in a similar pair of black loafers while walking around the streets of different major cities. Katie Holmes is almost always seen donning the silhouette, wearing her favorite Gucci Jordaan loafers through the streets of New York City. The shoe, constructed from a soft black leather, is adorned with the brand’s signature Horsebit detail on the top front.
Black Loafers on the Runway
Several designers including Coach, Celine and Bottega Veneta have featured black loafers alongside other classic shoe styles within their most recent collections. Crafting the slip-on shoe with an elevated platform, contrast stitching or three-dimensional design details, each brand is able to uniquely modernize the black loafer for a new audience.
