Kristen Bell is back in the spotlight promoting her upcoming Netflix rom-com, ‘Nobody Wants This! with appearances from LA to New York. Here is a breakdown of her looks.
LA Photocall
At the LA photocall, Kristen kicked things off in a Staud asymmetric dress layered over a sleeveless turtleneck. This is exactly the type of styling I love to see from celebrities—an outfit that feels personal, fresh, and not just straight off the runway. By layering the dress, Kristen toned down the “cocktail hour” vibe of the piece, making it feel more casual and approachable. It’s a simple but effective styling trick, and I love how she put her own spin on it.
Good Morning America Arrival
In New York for her GMA appearance, Kristen gave us another interesting look. While I appreciate her choice to wear a sheer shirt and skirt set from The Frankie’s Shop, there’s something about it that feels a bit… clinical. Perhaps it’s the stark white and structured vibe that gives off a nurse-like energy, but the accessories didn’t help to sell the look.
The Anine Bing Luna leather mini bag and BY FAR Yasha nappa leather slingback shoes added a level of structure that, for me, felt too harsh against the delicacy of the sheer fabrics. The black shades only heightened this disconnect. The outfit on its own had potential despite the sheerness, but the accessories made this feel disjointed, creating a look that didn’t quite hit the mark.
Good Morning America Departure & The View
Kristen redeemed herself with her departure look, where she opted for another sheer moment as she made her way to ‘The View.’ This time, she wore a Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini blue sheer long-sleeve turtleneck top paired with a blue high-waisted printed scuba skirt. While the sunglasses remained, I’m leaning toward them being the main accessory misstep from the earlier look.
That said, the flared silhouette of the skirt here really sells this look for me. I’m a sucker for a well-executed, flared skirt, and this one perfectly balanced the boldness of the sheer top, creating a fun look. It was a playful yet polished departure that felt much more cohesive than her arrival ensemble.
If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the photocall look in LA. I love how Kristen made that Staud dress her own with an unexpected layering choice.
