Kristin Davis as Charlotte York

While I usually find myself on Team Carrie Bradshaw, today I couldn’t help but swoon over Kristin Davis’ portrayal of Charlotte York. Charlotte’s style has always epitomised timeless elegance, and her Emilia Wickstead striped midi dress from the Spring 2024 collection perfectly aligns with this aesthetic. The dress, featuring a fit-and-flare silhouette with ’30s inspirations, is a flawless choice for Charlotte’s character.

What made this look particularly striking was the decision to avoid the predictable route of all-white accessories. Instead, Kristin’s look was elevated with yellow Christian Louboutin accessories, demonstrating the classic yet vibrant combination. Her look was further complemented by Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including a Jean Schlumberger Ninety-two Stone necklace, Tiffany T hoop earrings, and a Tiffany Knot bangle.

Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw

Sarah Jessica Parker, as Carrie Bradshaw, wore her second Simone Rocha dress from the Spring 2024 collection. This scene, shot at Tiffany & Co. The Landmark, showcased Carrie channeling her own interpretation of Audrey Hepburn’s iconic look as Eliza Doolittle in ‘My Fair Lady,’ rather than referencing Holly Golightly from ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s,’ which may have been too obvious.

Embracing the playful and dramatic essence of Eliza Doolittle, Carrie’s look was a testament to the characters flair for bold fashion statements with the slanted hat, an white Simone Rocha sculpted scoop-neck lace midi dress with pannier style exaggerated hips, a vintage bag, and dual-colour Maison Margiela Bourgeoise Spectator Tabi pumps.

However, one element that didn’t quite work for me was the vintage Ann Demeulemeester jacket. The tassels seemed overly fussy and the jacket obstructed the view of the dress’ modifications.
