After the monumental success of Kyrie Irving’s first signature basketball shoe with Chinese brand ANTA, the Dallas Mavericks star is ready to unleash a true off-court option for his loyal bastion of followers. The ANTA KAI Tribe, which has seen slow reveals over the last few months, is what’s at the center in this fresh preview as ANTA hosts its star athlete in China through its headquarters.
These photos revealed by Kyrie Irving himself provides just a taste of what’s to come from ANTA and the KAI Tribe initiative. While the pairs we’ve seen thus far have stayed close to drab, earth tones, Irving himself reveals a lot more personality through the vibrant colorways exposed here. The low-profile lifestyle shoe is elevated with a number of accessories that are designed to honor his indigenous heritage as beaded moccasin frills are seen throughout, while other pairs features a wide lacing style that add a colorful effect.
Shown on this table spread are some new colorways of the KAI Tribe such as a classic all-white, a black/white with floral patterns at the ankle, a purple suede with gum soles, and a few more that reflect Kyrie’s commitment to his roots.
ANTA has yet to reveal any concrete release information surrounding the KAI Tribe, but we presume a schedule of drops will commence later this season. Sticking to the KAI product flow, the ANTA KAI 1 Speed is set to make its retail debut later this month in the “Twin Flame” colorway at select retailers.
