LaMelo Ball and Puma are following the successful rollout of the athlete’s first signature lifestyle sneaker with a compelling two-pack dropping July 5th.
The Puma LaFrancé is every bit as eccentric as LaMelo’s performance line, but takes a drastically different approach as one might expect. Much like hot lifestyle models like the adidas Campus 00s and Vans Knu Skool, as well high-fashion footwear from brands like Lanvin, the shoes deliver a full-on embrace of chunky skate aesthetics. Oval cutouts in the side are matched by embossed midsole detailing, complemented by a huge TPU pull tab on the heel and text reading “Puma LaFrancé” on the outsoles.
After the model debuted via a red “Amour” colorway that quickly sold out, LaMelo and Puma have crafted a compelling two-pack for summer. A primarily black pair dubbed the “Untouchable” colorway sees hot pink flood the oval cutouts and outsole branding, while a sand-colored “Moment” edition sees its only contrast via dark brown text underfoot. While the “Amour” colorway glossed up in patent leather up top, we see traditional leather comprise the base this time around.
Both colorways are priced at $110 and will release via Puma and select retailers on July 5th. Scroll through detailed images of both options below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page while we stay current on all LaMelo Ball sneaker news.
