Shay – Acte III : Le Film is a cinematic recording of Belgian rapper Shay’s (Vanessa Lesnicki) live performance at the Zénith de Paris in November 2024. This concert marked the culmination of her three-part musical trilogy, following sold-out shows at the Olympia in Paris (Acte I) and a series of summer festivals across France, Belgium, and Switzerland (Acte II).
The film showcases Shay’s dynamic stage presence and features tracks from her album Pourvu qu’il pleuve.
With all eyes on Shay for the photocall in Paris last night, where she opted to wear two looks for the event.
For the first look, Shay went all-out elegant in a black Maison Margiela satin fishtail gown. The sheer opera gloves were an absolute stroke of genius, beautifully enhancing the gown’s neckline and tying the entire look together perfectly. Gloves can often feel like an afterthought, but they work here.
Now, if you thought this understated vibe might be a little too tame for someone as dynamic as Shay, wait until you see the second look.
If the Maison Margiela dress was the opening act, then this this Luis De Javier Spring 2025 look was the main event, and exact the type of boldness I was expecting. Keeping the lace cape, lace holdups, PVC platforms, and sculptural hat from the runway, Shay added her own twist with a white corset. While it covered her up a bit more than the original runway look, I’m not sure if that extra layer can save the look in the eyes of some. Still, it was a showstopper—bold, fearless, and totally Shay.
