Before Formula 1 took its summer break, the Grand Prix of Belgium at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Spa saw Lewis Hamilton not only race, but also serve up three new standout looks. Known for his keen fashion sense, Hamilton once again proved that his style game is as strong as his racing skills.
Cosy and Cool in Etro
Despite it being summer, Hamilton opted for a cosy ensemble from the Etro Fall 2024 collection. He sported a blue and grey woolen paisley knitted maxi jumper paired with matching trousers. The baggy set was a perfect example of his effortless style, and it was very much on brand for the British racing driver. This look shows Hamilton’s comfort with pushing the fashion boundaries with his unique flair, even if it’s not what any of us would consider a season appropriate look.
Dior x Lewis Hamilton Collaboration
As anticipated following the announcement of the Dior x Lewis Hamilton collaboration, the racing driver showcased a look from his Spring 2025 lifestyle capsule collection. He paired his much-worn burgundy Dior sneakers and a striking Dior silver brass and multi-coloured crystal necklace with his look. This collection, set to launch on October 17, is highly anticipated and promises to bring more of Hamilton’s signature style to the paddock. Â
Dynamic in Homme Plissé Issey Miyake
Hamilton’s final look of the weekend was from the Homme Plissé Issey Miyake Spring 2025 collection. This collection, inspired by movement and voluminous silhouettes, was a perfect match for the racing star. Considering Hamilton’s Mercedes car can reach speeds up to 234.9 miles per hour, the theme of movement was particularly fitting. The oversized silhouettes resonate with Hamilton’s love for comfortable yet stylish attire. Although a lighter shoe colour could have enhanced the ensemble, the black Dior derbies, his go-to since the start of the season, were a familiar and reliable choice. The white shades added a crisp finish to the look.
The F1 season is set to continue with the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort on August 25. If you’re anything like me, you’re eagerly awaiting more of Hamilton’s innovative and stylish appearances both on and off the track. For now, he’s enjoying the Olympics in Paris, supporting his good friend, fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, who, like Hamilton, is very much into fashion.
